Container Exchanges
With the ability to monitor container weight in real-time, we can dispatch and schedule exchanges in the most efficient manner possible, without the need of any facility personnel notifying P&D. You are never left without a container. When we arrive to pick up the full container, your clean exchange container will immediately be put back in place, creating a near seamless process. Typical exchanges take the driver 15 minutes. Furthermore, the design of our equipment ensures that when the exchange takes place, it is mess free and truly self-contained.
Every facility has different needs. With our years of experience in the food industry, we recognize the needs of one are not the needs of all. We offer a wide array of solutions; from a single staged container to multiple fully enclosed dump systems with our integrated scale systems. With the integrated scale system comes the ability to capture data of what is being thrown away and why. Providing a detailed metric to monitor the waste stream that the facility can then use as their own tool internally. Our equipment is custom-made to order, and P&D Recycle maintains ownership of all provided equipment. Available space On-Site and a facility’s waste volume are two of the biggest determining factors as we start to develop your facility’s waste solutions. California SB 1383 and Compliance
Compliance is key. Here is a quick breakdown of the legal framework P&D Recycle manages for you. P&D maintains all necessary permits and licensing to operate in accordance with state regulation.
SB 1383 is the state mandate to divert organic waste from landfill. Within the legislation (Public Resource Code 40059.4 from AB 3036) and in conjunction with the regulations set fourth by California Department of Food and Agriculture and CalRecycle, you are legally exempt from your city’s exclusive franchise waste hauler when all five statutory conditions are met as it relates to by-product diversion and animal feed. A franchise might claim they have the exclusive right to haul the organic waste but that is false.
